President | Lan Nguyen, MD
Dr. Lan K. Nguyen is board certified in Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical
Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR). She received her
medical degree from The University of Tennessee, College of
Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. She completed her residency
training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the
Washington University/Barnes- Jewish Hospital/St. Louis
Children's Hospital Consortium in St. Louis, Missouri.
She further completed her Interventional Spine and Sports
Medicine Fellowship at the Spine and Sports Center in
Houston, TX.
Dr. Nguyen is an active member of American Academy of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spine Interventional
Society, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association, and
current President of Vietnamese American Medical Association
Greater Houston. She is also serving as Vice Chair of
Council of International and Affiliated Medical Society of
Harris County Medical Society.

Internal VP | Diane Nguyen, DO
Dr. Diane Duyen Nguyen is board-certified in Medical
Oncology & Hematology by American Board of Internal Medicine
(ABIM). She completed Medical Oncology/Hematology Fellowship
training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center
in San Antonio and Internal Medicine Residency at Saint
Louis University, School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
She obtained medical degree from West Virginia School of
Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV and achieved
undergraduate degree in Biology Science with Summa cum laude
at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Nguyen has 17 years of clinical and research experiences
in Medical Oncology and Hematology specialty.
She is an active member of Vietnamese American Medical
Association (VAMA) as a Vice President of Internal Affairs,
American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Society
of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology
(ASH), Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO), Texas Medical
Association (TMA), and Harris County Medical Association.

External VP | Hang Le, DO
Dr. Hang Aline Le is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Dr. Le is a hospitalist and primary care physician for more than 20 years. She is currently a medical director at Immediate Care Medical Center. She is affiliated with HCA Tomball and practicing as hospitalist in addition to outpatient clinic at Immediate care medical center in Tomball, TX.

Secretary | Thao Nguyen, DO
Dr. Thao Nguyen is an Assistant Professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and pediatric critical care medicine. His main hospital affiliation is with Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, and he is also the associate program director of the pediatric critical care medicine fellowship program.

Treasurer | Julie Vu, MD
Dr. Julie Vu is from Houston, TX. She graduated from UT
Southwestern in 2005, then completed a residency at Mercy
Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She specializes
in complex surgical procedures using minimally invasive
techniques, including the DaVinci robot. She has a personal
interest in caring for patients with endometriosis.
Stressing patient-physician communication, she offers a
holistic treatment approach to this challenging condition,
including addressing all of a patient’s pain generators and
involving a team of multidisciplinary specialists.
Aside from the treatment of endometriosis, Dr. Vu offers
medical management or minimally invasive surgeries for
hysterectomies, adnexal masses, or fibroids (hysteroscopic
myomectomies, robotic assisted laparoscopic myomectomies,
radiofrequency ablation of fibroids), based on a patient’s
specific goals. She offers the full scope of gynecologic
care throughout a woman’s lifetime.

Parliamentarian | Ngoc Pham, MD
Dr. Ngoc Pham specializes in radiation therapy cancer
treatment. Board Certified by the American Board of
Radiology (ABR) for Radiation Oncology, Dr. Pham earned her
medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science
Center Houston Medical School. Dr. Pham went on to complete
her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Radiation
Oncology.
Dr. Pham is an active member of American Society for
Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and Parliamentarian for
Vietnamese American Medical Association of Greater Houston
(VAMA GH). She has also served as Chair of the Council of
International and Affiliated Medical Society of Harris
County Medical Society.
