Description of Event

• The VAMA-USA Gala: Saturday night 7:00 PM – 1:00 AM, the VAMA-USA Gala will be the main social event of the convention and will be attended by over 750 guests (physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and guests)
  
  
• Reunion Dinner : (Friday night 7 pm - late): $25 per ticket Friday Night at Kim Son Restaurant on Bellaire (10603 Bellaire Boulevard, Houston, TX). Talent Show & Singles, Young Members Mixer. Child ticket (10 year and under): $15, Child ticket (3 and under): Free. Transportation: $20 per person RT.
  
  *NEW CHANGES*
  Because of a large turnout, the Reunion dinner on Friday Oct. 22 will be changed from buffet style to 8-course seat down dinner at $35 per adult and $25 for children under 12yo.  The price change will take in effect immediately.  There will be no extra charge for those who have already paid.
  
  
• Gala Tickets: $125 per ticket, $1250 for a table of 10, and $2250 for a VIP table of 10 with preferred seating. Early ticket purchase improves seating. When purchasing a table, guests will be seated under name of purchaser and NO tickets will be individually distributed. We can NOT guarantee assigned seating for individual ticket purchasers. To ensure group seating, table purchase is encouraged.
  
  
• Package Deal: Includes all convention CME activity, 1 ticket to the Reunion dinner (Friday night without transportation), 1 ticket to Saturday night gala.
  For physician: $425; pharmacist: $250; nurses: $175
  
  
• Special Guests – Various Special Guests will attend the gala.  As soon as guests are confirmed, they will be listed on invitation. These special guests will include TV personalities, well-known politicians, and celebrities.
  
  
• Charity: All proceeds will go to VAMA-GH and VAMA-USA, both 501(c) (3) organizations and are tax-exempt. These funds will support educational, scholarship, and charitable projects of the two organizations.
  
  
• Food: For breaks during CME activities and the VAMA-USA Gala will be provided by Marriott Catering.
  
  
• Entertainment:  Music and interactive entertainment including performances by 2 internationally famous Vietnamese-American singers, Thanh Ha & Nhu Loan, backed by the premier local Vietnamese band, The Ocean.
  
  
• Auction: One significant live auction package (Lamborghini car rental for the weekend and dinner for 2 at a famous local restaurant)
  
  
• Raffle – Models will be approaching guests to sell raffle tickets to win several raffle packages.  Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each.
  
  
• Logo Wall – Two logo walls will be created consisted of logos from Title sponsor and Underwriters of this event.  One logo wall will be located at the entrance with red carpet and will be roped off for “press photo ops”.  Another logo wall with the same logos will be located at the entrance to all CME activities and during the title powerpoint slide at the beginning of all CME activities.  In addition, during the gala, an electronic logo “wall” will flash logos of the Title sponsor and Underwriters of the event throughout the 5 hours of the gala.
  
  
• Catch the Moment – CTM is a fun, interactive event photo entertainment utilizing state-of-the-art technology and professional photographer.  It uses a unique patent-pending CTM-backlit screen technology system.  Each guest can get their picture taken against the “logo wall” by themselves.
  
  
• Decor – Floral arrangements wall arts will be the main decorations for the event. 
  
  
• Sound – Marriott will provide the sound & audio needs for this event (sound system and  DVD screen & projector)
